Biography

An Academician with Entrepreneurial Skills , Cultural-Linguistic Expert & Academic Translator An Optimist Peacebuilder & Qualified Researcher Advocate of Human, Women & Gender Rights | Certified Mindfulness Practitioner

Objectives: I aim to leverage my extensive experience in qualitative research, education, women in leadership roles, and peacebuilding to drive positive change on a micro level within society. As an academic, researcher, and peace advocate, I aim to utilise my skills to foster progressive growth and social development.

Biography: I hold a PhD in Social Anthropology from Panjab University, Chandigarh, specialising in qualitative research methodologies such as ethnographies, life histories, and case studies. With over 20 + years of experience in teaching, research, project management and team leadership, I am adept at translating complex situations into actionable concepts. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, I have also embraced the art of learning Urdu.

Research Interests: My research spans Gender and Women’s Studies, Demographics, Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policies, Religious Minorities, Peacebuilding, Conflict Studies, Political Processes, and Women’s Leadership. I’m particularly focused on addressing gender inequality, Human rights, women’s rights, and social inequalities, as well as the rights of marginalised communities.
